She is a German-trained and educated Master Goldsmith and Designer. Anke received her masters degree from the School of Goldsmithing in Pforzheim, Germany. She then went on to work in Germany and Switzerland before moving to the United States.

A principal characteristic of her handcrafted jewelry is the combination between the modern and the ancient, which is inspired by Egyptian culture with its wide range of ornaments and hieroglyphics. Her command of classical goldsmithing techniques gives her the ability to transform this ancient art into a fashionable twentieth-century style.

She succeeds by using the simplicity of geometric forms, which gives freedom to the person who wishes to wear this unique jewelry.
